Kenneth Shy

Ken Shy is a partner and the lead trial attorney for M.R. Parker Law. Ken also runs the litigation department for the law firm.  Prior to working for M.R. Parker Law, Ken spent almost a decade on the defense side. Since joining in 2018, Kenneth has obtained hundreds of millions dollars for his clients in trial verdicts and settlements.

Ken prides himself on fighting for his clients and is willing to take any case to trial if he feels the insurance companies are not treating his client fairly.  As a defense attorney, Ken was successful in obtaining a defense verdict in every trial and arbitration he was assigned on.  Since becoming a plaintiff’s lawyer in 2018, Kenneth has secured significant amounts of 7 figure and 8 figure results for his clients. Ken is proud of his work in getting Starbucks sanctioned $7,400 for their attempts to hide the video on the nationally publicized case Michael Garcia v. Starbucks, which resulted in a $50 million verdict for our client.

Ken is a proud member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation only organization which requires a minimum of ten jury trials for entry, the Consumer Attorney’s Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and has been a member of the California State Bar since 2010, passing the bar on his first attempt after graduating from Los Angeles’ Southwestern Law School.  Prior to attending Southwestern, Ken graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz and attended William S. Hart High School in Santa Clarita, California.

In his spare time, Ken enjoys watching sports and spending time with his wife Kristin, and sons Beckett and Gavin.
